As the face of Balmain, Rihanna was expected to be seated in the front row during the show.

Well, that didn't happen.

She arrived an hour late, after the other guests had left, but that's no problem when you're a superstar like Rihanna. Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing gave her a personalized, backstage tour of the clothes, reported Women's Wear Daily.

But really, everyone just wanted to talk about what Rihanna was wearing.

She wore a low-cut green jacket with nothing underneath it, so her sternum tattoo was perfectly visible. Her hair was in a short bob with bangs, a look she has sported over the last few days. The singer went on to share pictures of herself with Rousteing on Instagram. In one picture, she says, "Love this guy" and in another she calls him her "fashion soul mate."

At 8 p.m., she showed up to Lanvin show right on time, and wore a much more covered up look, complete with a hat.

Rihanna decided to one-up herself at the Balmain after party.

She wore a black leather skirt, and a black completely see-through fishnet top with nothing underneath. She accessorized with a chain choker, and her signature red lipstick.

In the March issue of Vogue, she explained her fashion choices.

A men's jacket is the star of her wardrobe.

"More than anything, I like a jacket," she said. "You can do anything with a great jacket, the bigger the better. You can have any silhouette underneath. It gives you an attitude. It makes a gown look cool."

She also has some very interesting ideas about bras.

"If I'm wearing a top, I don't wear a bra," she said. "If I'm wearing a bra, I just wear a bra."

That explains everything.
