Beauty retailer Sephora is banking on the success of "Divergent" by releasing a limited edition collection inspired by the movie.
The collection will be released in March, which is also when the movie will be released, according to the Huffington Post. This is the first time the brand has designed a collection around a movie, and it has chosen a neutral color palette for this go-around. It is well suited for day and nightwear, and it doesn't feature any bright colors.
It's actually an accessible color palette for many skin tones, similar to what the Naked Palette tries to achieve.
There are three sets. One is called the Multi-Piece Collectors Kit, priced at $59.50. The Multi-Piece Collector's Palette is $32.50. And the 7-Piece Nail Art Kit is $27.50. The shades and blends are all inspired by the different factions that exist in "Divergent."
A press release said that the eyeshadows "showcase fluid, twinkling particles that look like they are suspended in air."
This is not the first time a beauty brand has created a makeup collection after a movie. CoverGirl released a 'Hunger Games' collection last October, detailing how to get makeup looks for each district.
This collection featured bright reds, bejeweled eyebrows and blue lips. They were elaborately made up, but either weren't practical for everyday wear or didn't suit everyone else.
The "Divergent" collection seems to be created with Shailene Woodley's laid-back style in mind. She doesn't wear a lot of bold makeup, and she will even walk the red carpet wearing Vibram's Five Finger shoes as she did at the 2012 Golden Globes.
Pick out your favorite and get ready to wear your "Divergent" makeup when you watch the film. The collection is slated to be available before the movie's March 21 release date.
