"Mistresses" is about to see a few new faces for Season 2, and they will shake things up on the show.
The adapted-from-British-TV series will be welcoming "Days of Our Lives" and "Baywatch" alum Krista Allen, who will portray Janine Winterbaum. She's a "real housewife" of Beverly Hills, who hires Harry and Joss to cater an event, according to TV Line.
She'll be very demanding, and may end up butting heads with Harry.
Another soap opera star, Rebeka Montoya, will join the cast. She was Detective Delores Padilla on "General Hospital."
She'll have a recurring role as Toni, a Latina lawyer, who is as ambitious as she is beautiful, said TV Line. She'll interact with a few of the main characters, and will end up making some sort of impact in their lives.
And joining the cast by way of a Los Angeles showcase that was put together by the ABC casting department, which has also worked with stars Lupita Nyong'o and Chadwick Boseman, is Catherine Kim. She'll be Mia, "Karen's patient who leads the psychiatrist down a twisted path," said TV Line.
Mia will also be a recurring role.
Karen has already had her troubles in Season 1. She slept with Elizabeth's son, and then Elizabeth who was mentally unstable tried to kill Karen. She planned to make it look like a suicide.
'Mistresses' will return in the summer, and began production in late February. It was announced that the show would be getting a second season after it ranked as the No. 2 scripted series of the summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The British version only aired six episodes. The ABC show stars Alyssa Milano, Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan, Brett Tucker and Jason George.
