Chaos Rising, the newest DLC for Dead Rising 3, will be released on Feb. 25.

Microsoft revealed the DLC's release date through the official Xbox Twitter account, and those who have already purchased the season pass for the Xbox One-exclusive title will automatically receive the content for free when it is launched. This new batch of DLC is the third to be released for the game since it was released as a Xbox One launch title.

Chaos Rising will focus on Hunter, the leader of a biker gang who must deal with the challenges the zombie apocalypse has imposed on his gang. It is unclear what much of the content for the DLC will be like, but several images of the new vehicles found in Chaos Rising have been shown: an armored car with a massive machine gun turret that will be capable of tearing through a horde of zombies or regular humans alike; another vehicle is a motorcycle rigged with multiple circular saw blades attached to the front wheel and handlebars; and there's a converted food truck, though what sort of surprises this third vehicle has in store is unclear. According to the Twitter post, there will also be three new wallpapers.

Details about the plot of Chaos Rising have not been revealed, but considering the story follows a different protagonist, the DLC will most likely feature a standalone story. That was the case with the Operation Broken Eagle DLC, which had players play as a secret service agent trying to find the missing President of the United States.

Dead Rising 3 has proven to be popular with Xbox One owners, and many considered it one of the best games available on the console when both the game and the system were launched on Nov. 22. Developed by Capcom, the game allows users to explore an open world setting beyond the mall complexes seen in the first two entries and explore a city full of the undead, either on foot or in a vehicle. Players can choose to follow the game's story or explore without restrictions.
