Can't figure out what colors actually work on your skin? No sweat! Finding the shades that are specific to your tone can be time consuming and frustrating, so why not just go for tried-and-true colors that look marvelous on everyone. Here are the 6 shades that you can rock:

Look for a shade that perfectly balances blue and red because it will look great on anyone at any time of day. Make sure there isn't too much red because it's not as forgiving on everyone and can look like a bruise on some.

This color will complement both lighter and darker skin tones. It look natural on darker tones, and it is equally subtle on fairer complexions, who can use it as a way to create a smoky eye without being as jarring as black can be.

This shade is so neutral that anyone can wear this lipstick color. Some other pink shades veer to orange, but this has a bit of purple to tone down the overall brightness. It's very similar to many people's lip color, and it will still work even if it's not.

Red can get complicated, but if you stick to actual red, then you'll easily be able to pull of that red color. When choosing a color, think of a red crayola and find a shade that matches that color. Reds with orange or other undertones will only look fabulous if they are your shade.

The whites of your eyes will look whiter, which will make your eyes look more awake when you use a navy eyeliner. Black has the tendency to be too harsh on some skin tones.

This bright color works well on dark and light skin tones, so go for something bold, but pretty when you try a turquoise eyeliner.
