Amanda Bynes' lawyer confirmed just how well the 27-year-old actress has been since being released from a luxury mental facility late last year.

"Everything is fine," attorney Bob Wilson told People magazine on Thursday. "She's doing great."

Wilson appeared in place of Bynes's usual lawyer, Richard Hutton, at a Los Angeles hearing for the star's 2012 DUI arrest. Although Bynes has yet to enter a plea in the case, Wilson assured the judge that one would be admitted by March 3.

The confirmation about the progression in Bynes' mental health comes as great news after she displayed months of bizarre and erratic behavior in 2013. She was finally committed to a psychiatric hospital over the summer. On July 22, she was placed on an involuntary hold after she set fire to a stranger's driveway, around the corner from her parents' home in California. She was rumored to have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and her parents were granted full conservatorship over her fortune.

Bynes received treatment for mental illenss at UCLA's medical center before she was transferred to a mental rehabilitation facility in Malibu called The Canyon.

In December, the former Nickelodeon child star was released into the care of her parents in Thousand Oaks, Calif. and appears to have made a full turn around.

During a progress hearing last week, the judge commended Bynes' mother Lynn for getting her daughter back on course, reports TMZ.

"Good job, Mrs. Bynes. Well done," said the judge.

Since her release, the "Hairspray" actress has also been focusing on her physical health and has been frequently photographed wearing workout gear and going to the gym.
