From the looks of the preview of the next Monday's episode of "Almost Human," Episode 12 will be action packed and intense when Detective Kennex and Dorian investigate DNA crimes of the future.

In the upcoming episode, "Beholder," Det. Kennex and Dorian are forced to solve a "chrome" murder case although there are very few signs of trauma.

Fox issued an official press release of "Beholder" that reads: "When Det. Kennex and Dorian investigate the murder of a "chrome," there are no signs of trauma, other than a very small pinprick on the back of his neck. As the investigation unfolds, it's revealed that the murder suspect is tapping into the DNA of his victims in pursuit of perfection."

In addition, a promo video reveals that Kennex and Dorian will take a few witty robot vs. human jabs at one another during a car ride. "You just can't handle the fact that technology is part of the problem, it cuts a little close to the titanium," quips Kennex. "The more flaws you have, the more human you are," Dorian snaps back, adding, "have I told how very human you are lately?"

Tony Cox from "Bad Santa" will guest star in the episode. Other actors slated to make an appearance include Anthony Konechny as MX-43 #1, Michael Eklund as Eric Lathem, John Shaw as Dr. Curt McCann; Tony Cox as Di Carlo; Jesse Hutch as Jake Bellman; Rhonda Dent as Judy Wood; Tommy Douglas as Brian Barrow; Matthew Harrison as Dr. Amir; Emilie Ullerup as Sarah Courtney; Alex Duncan as April Ross and Sophie Lui as Claire Chang, reports ComicBook.com.

The "Beholder" episode of "Almost Human" airs on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
