Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, stars of successful, popular teen dramas created and produced by Josh Schwartz, have tied the knot. Reports said Brody and Meester were married earlier this week, and thanks to a short TooFab video, we know it is true.
A photographer taking Brody's picture asked, "Hey man, is it true you really got married?"
He replied by simply saying "Yeah."
News of their engagement became public only three months ago. According to the Daily Mail, a source said, "Leighton and Adam are crazy about each other and have talked about getting married eventually. But she had no idea when he would propose so soon! It was the surprise of her life and she's ecstatic!"
Meester and Brody were spotted in Mexico from Feb. 12 to Feb. 15, a few weeks after she had a bachelorette party at Hamburger Mary's.
They worked in the 2011 movie "The Oranges," and have been dating since February 2013. That month she was caught trying to hide from the paparazzi in the backseat of his car, but the two were spotted later in the month going out to eat at a Mexican restaurant.
The couple, who has been very quiet about the relationship, have not said anything else about their relationship. But Brody has been spotted wearing a wedding band while out in Los Angeles.
Meester, 27, who has been rehearsing for a new Broadway version "Of Mice & Men," which will also star James Franco and Chris O'Dowd, was not by his side.
Sources said their original plan was to get married in the summer, and that they were choosing between southern California and a destination wedding.
Brody was previously tied to his "O.C." co-star Rachel Bilson and "Seeking a Friend For The End of the World" director Lorene Scafaria. Meester used to date Aaron Himelstein, who played a younger version of Austin Powers.
