Thalia showed off her dashing new look as a blonde at Thurdsay night's Premios Juventud, where she along with a great number of celebrities from the Latino entertainment community celebrated the best in music and television of the year.
Before the awards, the actress took time to answer questions that were posted by her fans in a Univision interview. In the Q and A session, the actress and singer talked about her children, Sabrina Sakae and Matthew Alexander and the impact social media has had on her life.
The star had already showed off her new look on Twitter, but on Thursday night the actress donned a white dress and an incredible tan which, along with the new blonde hair, made her look spectacular.
Thalia arrived at the event without her husband Tommy Mottola. The star praised social networking sites like Twitter for allowing her to connect even more with fans in a way that was never heard of before and said that the impact it has had on her life has been "absolutely spectacular."
The actress spoke of her life as a mother to Univision and said that her daughter "is super creative and never likes a 'no' for an answer. She goes around and looks for her dad, for a way around that 'no,'" Thalia answered.
The actress added that "my son is very joyful, he greets everyone, he sings to them and likes to give them toys, he is very friendly."
The show kicked off with a breathtaking performance by J.Lo and Pitbull which rocked the Bank United Center in Miami. Later in the night, Lopez received the World Icon Award and gave an emotional speech in Spanish in which she thanked her fans for all their support.
Marc Anthony also performed at the show a few days after he was at the center of controversy after performing "God Bless America" at the MLB'S All Star Game. The singer went on television to remind people that he was born in the US and that he was raised in East Harlem, NY.
The biggest winner of the night was bachata singer Prince Royce, who took home five awards. Late singer Jenni Rivera also won awards and was honored during the ceremony.
