On the latest episode of "The Fosters," Callie comes home, Stef comes clean and Mariana follows some bad advice.

In "Us Against the World," Callie (Maia Mitchell) decides to return home to be adopted along with Jude (Hayden Byerly). But now that she's home, she'll have to deal with Brandon (David Lambert) on a regular basis. They ended their relationship, but it may be difficult to stay apart now that there isn't distance separating them.

Callie then finds out that Brandon has decided to live with his father for awhile until Callie gets readjusted at home. He reassures Callie that he also needed the move for him, and that his temporary departure is not her fault.

When she returns home, Jude is distant and untrusting of her after she ran away, leaving him behind.

Callie decides to earn back Jude's trust by giving him a surprise for his birthday. Their biological mom had given Jude the wrong birthday on the foster system paperwork by accident, and the foster system never found out, meaning no one knows the real date of his birthday.

Callie has anonymous gifts delivered to Jude, which is at first utterly puzzling to him. Soon, he realizes that the gifts are from Callie, making him realize that Callie cares a lot about him.

Meanwhile, Brandon's new living accommodations are not exactly ideal. His dad Mike (Danny Nucci) has a new lady friend, even though his father's AA sponsors warned him not do start a relationship early in his sobriety.

Things are also taking a turn for the worse at Mike's trial. Stef (Teri Polo) received a subpoena to testify in court, and during her testimony, they ask her about her false statement under oath. Stef admits to the DA in questioning that she lied earlier in her testimony.

Brandon then convinces Jesus (Jake T. Austin) and Mariana's (Cierra Ramirez) mother to lie, because if she testifies, her children will know that she left Stef bleeding on the ground just to get more money out of Jesus. She decides not to testify, and Brandon gives her a large sum of money to ensure she'll be able to buy food, as the DA could take away her food stamp privileges for refusing to testify.

Brandon got the money from his father, who believes he's using it to pay for piano lessons, not knowing that Brandon quit weeks ago. Mike now involuntarily paid off a witness for his own trial, which could come back to bite him later on.

Stef tells the truth about the shooting, but manages to keep her job.

Meanwhile, Mariana goes to a party, chaperoned by Callie, and makes a foolish move to get her crush's attention. Mariana takes some bad advice from the jealous girl who also has a crush on Chase; she tells Mariana to slip her panties into Chase's pocket and tell him to meet her upstairs.

When Chase gets upstairs, they begin kissing, then he starts to unbuckle his pants. The naive Mariana is shocked, and doesn't want to take it that far. Their awkward hookup stops, with Mariana feeling both confused and ashamed.

Later, Brandon tries to sell exam answers to his peers to try to get his dad's money back, which includes him stealing his mom's keys to the vice principal's office. It's clear that Brandon's increasingly bad decisions are sending him on a downward spiral.

On the next episode, "Kids in the Hall," "Callie finds a way to use her photography skills for a good cause, but it unintentionally leads to trouble for someone she cares about. In an effort to clear his own conscience, Brandon makes a deal with an unscrupulous classmate and finds himself in over his head. Mariana deals with the unwelcome consequences of her stunt to earn Chase's affection, and tension comes to a head between Jesus and Emma during a wrestling match. Meanwhile, Stef and Lena contemplate another big step for their family."

Check out the preview below for "Kids in the Hall," which airs Monday, Feb. 24 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
