On Sunday, the best and brightest around the NBA will take centerstage in New Orleans, La., for the 63rd annual NBA All-Star Game. But before that, Saturday's fun-filled NBA All-Star Saturday Night will feature the clash between the East and West, as Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, the Western Conference's team captain, and Indiana Pacers forward Paul George, captain for the East, will try to lead their team to victory and help donate as much as $500,000 to chosen charitable institutions.

From Dominique Wilkins to Michael Jordan to Terrence Ross, the slam dunk contest is where stars are made. Six high-flying players will showcase their leaping ability and their creativity in two entertaining rounds of competition. Unlike the previous years, this year's edition of the Slam Dunk Contest will feature some innovation with the inclusion of the free-style round and battle-round.

> Freestyle Round -- Each conference will have 90 seconds for their three players to showcase as many dunks as they want. A panel of judges will choose a winning conference (East or West). The winning conference will earn the advantage of determining the order of competition for the Battle Round.

> Battle Round -- The Battle Round will feature head-to-head matchups pitting the East's best dunkers vs. the West's star dunkers -- with the judges' panel choosing a winner for each individual battle. Upon losing a head-to-head battle, the losing dunker is eliminated from the competition. The first team to win three battles wins the round and is crowned the slam dunk champion.

EASTERN CONERENCE:

Paul George (Indiana Pacers), Terrence Ross (Toronto Raptors), John Wall (Washington Wizards)

WESTERN CONERENCE:

Harrison Barnes, Golden State Warriors, Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Ben McLemore (Sacramento Kings).
