For its 50th anniversary Swimsuit Issue, Sports Illustrated opted for three models: Nina Agdal, Lily Aldridge and Chrissy Teigen.

The cover was released last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The cover was shot by James Macari in the Cook Islands, which is off the coast of New Zealand.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Chrissy Teigen said, "It's the ultimate surprise, and it's the best feeling in the world right now. The smiles that you're seeing are genuine. We had a good time, and it shows in the picture."

She has been featured in the magazine five times, but this is the first time she's been on the cover. It's also the first time Lily Aldridge, a Victoria Secret's model, has been on Sports Illustrated.

She added that she was in shock, and that it was an "incredible honor."

"Getting to be on the cover, we're all going to be household names. It's incredible what it does for you career and where it can take you."

The last time there were multiple models on the cover was 2006. The issue will hit newsstands next week.

-Released her own clothing line in 2013 named Lily Aldridge for Velvet

-Married to Kings of Leon's Caleb Followill, and has one daughter
