It seems that Android 4.3 has been spotted on every device but the one that's bound to receive it first. The soon-to-be released version of Android, however, has finally been seen running on a Nexus 4, and even better, it's available for download.

Unsuspecting private citizen Jeff Williams bought a Nexus 4 off a Google employee through Craigslist a couple weeks ago, and to his surprise, the handset is running Android 4.3. Further inspection by the Android community confirms this is indeed an official Android 4.3 build with a kernel date of Thursday, June 13.

Interested Nexus 4 owners can already download the firmware to flash over at XDA Developers. Bear in mind that the firmware, while seemingly official, probably isn't the final build, so there may be bugs. As usual, inexperienced flashers should simply wait, as Google is expected to announce and roll out Android 4.3 next week.

Google recently sent out invitations to the press cordially inviting them to attend a "breakfast with Sundar Pichai" Wednesday, June 24. The search giant is expected to finally show off a new version of Android as well as a new Nexus tablet - two things that many thought would rear their heads earlier at the Google I/O Conference back in May. The new version of Android should be Android 4.3, with the more novel Android 5.0 "Key Lime Pie" launching sometime this fall.

Android 4.3 is a rather minor upgrade, bringing some improvements to the camera and Bluetooth functions.

Let us know if you flash your Nexus 4 to Android 4.3 and what your experience with the new operating system is like in the comments section below.
