Both "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" are filming in Atlanta, so it's possible that Nina Dobrev, 25, and Liam Hemsworth, 24, just crossed paths, but onlookers tell a different tale.

"They were together and were with a couple of friends," a witness told Celebuzz. "They were having a great time. They were definitely acting couple-y."

A picture of the two at Corner Tavern in Edgewood was snapped by the source's friend. Hemsworth's face can be seen, but his female companion's cannot. But the source says they stayed close to each other and drank beer by the bar, eventually becoming clear that they were more than friendly.

"The kisses were on the lips publicly outside the bar ... and it was three sensual kisses on the lips," the source said.

The two were there for two to three hours, where fans took pictures and tried to speak to the possible couple. The onlooker was able to speak to them, but was disappointed that other starstruck attendees cut the conversation short.

Both Dobrev and Hemsworth have previously been in highly publicized relationships.

Hemsworth dated Miley Cyrus for three years, becoming engaged in June 2012. They met on the set of the 2010 film "The Last Song." They split up in September after many reports that the relationship was doomed. This was also around the time that Cyrus' new public persona started emerging.

Dobrev was also tied to her co-star, Ian Somerhalder. They similarly dated for three years, and even joked about their breakup at the People's Choice Awards earlier this year, according to E!

Their characters hated each other at first, but then started dating.

Dobrev reminded the crowd, "Then we broke up in real life."

"And yet our characters are still dating on the show," chimed in Somerhalder.
