Filming for the eagerly anticipated third installment of "The Hunger Games" series, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," continued in Atlanta, Ga. this week.

A series of new photos show stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth on set, as well as out and about in Atlanta. Local Atlanta residents Brandon and Anne Frazier were dining at Bookhouse Pub when they ran into the film stars. Check out the photos here

The Daily Mail also posted this photo of Julianne Moore donning gray hair for her "Hunger Games" character.

Filming had been going smoothly in Atlanta, except for a scary smoke machine malfunction a couple months ago, until the untimely death of Philip Seymour Hoffman from a heroine overdose last week. Despite Hoffman's death, filming has continued.

While Hoffman still had some work to be completed for "Mockingjay," most of his scenes had already been filmed. Filmmakers will be able to use CGI technology to place his image into scenes that have not yet been filmed.

Industry reports indicate that Hoffman had another week's worth of filming to be completed. According to Access Atlanta, the realtor who negotiated the lease on Hoffman's temporary Atlanta home said he was due to keep the residence until early April.

Hoffman, who died at the age of 46 in Greenwich Village, N.Y., is the second actor to die while filming a movie in Atlanta. Paul Walker, who was filming "Fast and Furious 7" in Atlanta, died in a fiery car crash in Los Angeles in November.

Julianne Moore, who starred with Hoffman in "Boogie Nights," retweeted a message from actor Kevin Spacey about Hoffman's death: "To honor the late great Philip Hoffman consider supporting his much loved theater group @LabTheaterNYC ."

Jennifer Lawrence, director Francis Lawrence and author Suzanne Collins also released a joint statement Monday on behalf of "The Hunger Games" cast and crew.

Their message reads: "Words cannot convey the devastating loss we are all feeling right now. Philip was a wonderful person and an exceptional talent, and our hearts are breaking. Our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to his family."

Sam Claflin, "Catching Fire's" Finnick Odair, described Hoffman in a tweet as a "truly wonderful man, with a magical touch." More tributes about the late actor continue to be released from the acting community and fans alike.
