It appears that the rumors that celebrity couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling has split up are false.

It was reported that the "Place Beyond the Pines" co-stars broke up over the holidays over lifestyle differences. One being that Gosling likes to avoid the limelight and Mendes is said to love the glitz and glam of Hollywood.

"They started having problems back in September," a source told  InTouch Weekly, adding that "They decided to quietly call it off for good around Christmas."

After the Hollywood pair was not seen in public together in three months, there was speculation that their relationship went cold. Despite the hearsay, Mendes' rep tells E! News the latest breakup reports are just another round of rumors.

Although the couple was first romantically linked in September 2011, the two have yet to speak publically about their relationship.

"I'm sorry. I'm shutting down," said the 39-year-old Latina beauty when asked about her romance with the 33-year-old actor in an interview with The Edit back in September. "I'm such a weirdo. I literally lose my ability to speak-and you were doing so well."

Over the weekend, an eyewitness supposedly overheard the actress telling TSA officers at LAX airport that she would not pass through the body scanner "because she's pregnant."

"Eva never said any such thing to the TSA officers about not wanting to go through the scanner because of a pregnancy," the actress' publicist told the Daily News in a statement on Monday.

"She has never gone through the scanners at the airport," he continued. "She has always elected to be hand-checked instead."
