Jamie Dornan, the star of the upcoming film adaption of "Fifty Shades of Grey," will reportedly take a break from shooting the movie to work on another project.
While the Irish actor is currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting the erotic romance movie, he is scheduled to head back in Belfast in Northern Ireland to film series two of "The Fall" later this month, reports Metro.co.uk.
According to RadioTimes.co.uk, "The Fall's" executive producer Gub Neal said, "We have been talking to Jamie for nine months about his role and the Fall schedule is not affected in any way. We begin filming at the end of January, beginning of February, and it is a 16 week shoot and nothing has changed."
However, the start date for filming of "The Fall" has also reportedly been delayed due to actress Gillian Anderson's commitments to appear on NBC's "Hannibal."
Dornan replaced Charlie Hunnam to play the lead role of kinky billionaire Christian Grey, while Dakota Johnson plays his love interest Anastasia Steele.
According to Michael De Luca, the film's producer, the movie will capture the "intense and erotic love story" between the couple.
"We're going to give them what they expect, which is an intense and erotic love story," said De Luca last week at the PGA Producers' Breakfast in Park City, Utah, according to Deadline.
However, De Luca did note that there will be some restrictions in the film. "Obviously the film can't be as explicit as the book. A picture is worth a 1000 words. So to be erotic onscreen means I think an image is going to have way more power than reading the words on a page," he said.
"We're very conscious of not making anything gratuitous or exploitive while being faithful to the stories of the book and to the fans of the book," said the producer at the Sundance Film Festival.
De Luca, who will step in as the president of Production for Columbia Pictures on March 1, also revealed that he decided to take on the project due to the book's captivating love story.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to be released on February 13, 2015.
