Chris Bosh is expected to become one of the most coveted players this summer when he hits free agency, and reports on Monday suggested that the Miami Heat superstar could end up with the Chicago Bulls or the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bosh has yet to talk about his plans this summer but it is widely believed that the All-Star power forward will test free agency in hopes of getting a lucrative contract and bigger role elsewhere after taking less money since 2010 to play as the "third star" in Miami.
HoopsRumors indicated that Bosh could land a lucrative deal with a team that fails to secure the services of Carmelo Anthony or LeBron James in the offseason.
The Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers were previously identified as possible landing spots for James and Anthony should both superstars decide to test the market this summer. Sources said that both teams will strongly consider signing Bosh if they fail to land Anthony or James.
"Report says there are a lot of teams that would line up with max offers for Bosh, who's having a great season for Miami, so he could wind up a number of different places. Teams in the Carmelo Anthony sweepstakes, like the Bulls and Lakers, might see him as a consolation prize, though that's just my speculation," HoopsRumors noted on the impending free agency of Bosh.
The Bulls could be a good fit for Bosh especially if Derrick Rose regains his health next season. However, acquiring Bosh could also mean that the Bulls will part ways with Carlos Boozer via the amnesty rule and Taj Gibson via a trade.
Previous reports indicated that Bulls could consider moving Gibson before the deadline or after the season in order to create cap space to sign a superstar in the offseason.

On the other hand, the Lakers are also viewed as a likely landing spot especially if they decide to part ways with Pau Gasol either before the deadline or in the offseason.
However, it should be noted that signing Bosh would hurt the Lakers' chances of signing Kevin Love in 2015 when the Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star hits free agency. Recent reports suggested that the Love wants to play for the Lakers once his contract with the Timberwolves runs out.
Aside from the Bulls and Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks are expected to be in the mix, but the question is how well he will play alongside another star power forward in Dirk Nowitzki.
