It looks like Beyonce is embarking on yet another vegan challenge in which she will not consume meat or animal products for 22 days.
On Wednesday, the "Drunk in Love" singer shared a photo on Instagram of a peanut butter protein chocolate bar, topped with sliced bananas. Bey captioned the shot of the gluten, soy, and dairy free snack as "#22daysvegan," making it safe to assume that super star plans to take on the healthy diet once again.
Last year, she and her husband Jay Z took on a 22 day vegan challenge for Jay's 44th birthday in December, reports E! News.
"On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based," Jay wrote on his blog. "This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a "plant-based breakfast" everyday. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought."
Now, since the power couple successfully completed the challenge, it's only right for round two.
The hip hop mogul also explained on his Life + Times blog the significance of going on the diet for 22 days, as opposed to 21 or 23 days. According to the rap star, "psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way."
He added that time switching to a "plant-based" lifestyle "just feels right," calling it "a spiritual and physical cleanse."
There's no word yet on whether Hov will be joining his wife for the second challenge.
