The excitement continues with the New Bloom Festival and DOTA 2. Along with the recently released 6.80 patch, two new heroes have arrived for the game.

One of the newly introduced character is Terrorblade, the creepy twin of the Anti-Mage who first appeared in the original DOTA game. This new hero has many interesting abilities such as creating un-targetable and invulnerable illusions of enemies, and swapping health points with that of an ally or foe. The other new hero is Phoenix, who, as the name implies, has many abilities that drains its own health in order to use powerful attacks. In addition, Phoenix has the ability to transform into a targetable sun and then be reborn with full health.

Besides these new characters, players will also be treated to the New Bloom Spring Map. This map is decorated with paper lanterns and has fireworks go off before the match, which reflects the celebration of the Chinese New Year that New Bloom is based off of.

A new game mode called Random Ability Draft will also be available to players who have reached level 11 and above. This game mode randomly selects the heroes for the players, and pools those heroes' abilities into one giant grab bag. Players then begin drawing the abilities one at a time until they all are taken. This will allow heroes to have a whole new set of abilities and be able to potentially use any ability found in the game.

In addition to all these different additions to the game, the New Bloom Festival will add some new balancing and gameplay tweaks to the game to help ensure that DOTA 2 maintains the high standard Valve has set for the game. New items have also been put into the game as well to add some new variety to DOTA 2 such as the Juggernaut healing ward.
