The 2014 Grammy Awards honored music that blasted from car stereos and played over and over in our heads during the past year. The awards show honored the year's music with performances that ranged from iconic collaborations to raunchy duets.

Here are the top 10 best performances of the 2014 Grammy Awards:

10. Sara Bareilles and Carol King, "Brave" and "Beautiful"

Carol King is one of the best songstresses of all time, creating hits like "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman," "You've Got a Friend" and a slew of others. Her dueling piano duet of her hit song "Beautiful" with singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles and her 2013 pop hit "Brave" was both genuine and inspirational.

9. Nine Inch Nails, Queens of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl & Lindsey Buckingham, Medley

The awesome collaborative finale performance flat out rocked, with Lindsey Buckingham proving he can still rock out with the best of them.

8. Kacey Musgraves, "Follow Your Arrow"

Kacey Musgraves gave an adorable performance with a refreshingly modern country song. While the lyrics may be simple, Kacey has introduced a new brand of country music that doesn't conform to stereotypes and encourages people to be themselves and never be ashamed of it.

7. Katy Perry and Juicy J "Dark Horse"

Katy kicked the show into high gear with a sexy, witchy performance. Katy emerged from a crystal ball as a glamorous witch, along with awesome props, dancers and special effects. She even "burned at the stake" at the end, featuring an awesome end to the dark-themed performance.

6. Robin Thicke and Chicago, medley featuring "Blurred Lines"

While Robin Thicke's last "Blurred Lines" performance was not quite his shining moment, he redeemed himself with a great duet with iconic band Chicago. Thicke and Chicago performed some of Chicago's well-loved classics, as well as a much classier version of "Blurred Lines" at the end of the performance.

5. P!nk and Nate Reuss from Fun, "Try" and "Just Give Me a Reason"

Although P!nk has done an acrobatic/modern dance performance at a previous award show, it never gets old. P!nk always gives an amazing performance, showcasing her physical strength and gracefulness. Her and Nate Reuss gave a beautiful vocal performance as well.

4. Daft Punk, Pharrell and Stevie Wonder, "Get Lucky"

The iconic Stevie Wonder and Pharrell gave fitting vocal accompaniment to Daft Punk's summer hit "Get Lucky," which they performed in a replica of a recording studio. The funky performance had everyone on their feet.

3. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and Madonna, "Same Love"

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and Madonna gave an unexpectedly affecting performance with "Same Love," which included a major surprise: 33 real couples, gay and straight, exchanged rings in the audience while Queen Latifah officiated in a big Grammys wedding. While Madonna's entrance was slightly comical at first, she quickly blended in with a performance of "Open Your Heart," leading into a duet of the end of "Same Love" with Mary Lambert.

2. Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, "Queenie Eye"

The incomparable Sir Paul sang a new song, "Queenie Eye," with his Beatles cohort, Ringo Starr. Paul was incredible, as always, and the two continued to prove that the Beatles' talent and legacy is simply unmatched.

1. Beyonce and JAY-Z, "Drunk in Love"

While Sir Paul was amazing, nothing had people talking quite like the sexy performance from Beyonce and her hubby, Jay-Z. Beyonce opened the show grinding on a chair in a skimpy leotard, then Jay-Z came out to do his rap portion of the song. The crowd couldn't get enough of Mrs. Carter's booty shaking or the duo's risque grinding.
