The Miami Heat recently entered in a three-team trade, and reports indicated that the defending champions are still planning to make roster moves before the deadline.

NBA analyst David Aldridge reported that the Heat will look to ensure they're in the best position to win three straight titles this season by acquiring key players who can contribute to their playoff run this year.

According to the report, the Heat, who recently acquired Toney Douglas in a three-team deal that sent Joel Anthony to the Boston Celtics, are looking to trade for another wing player.

Previous reports indicated that the Heat were interested in adding a center or power forward, but shifted their focus to available wing players after Greg Oden showed encouraging signs in his return from a long layoff.

"With Oden looking like he can be a contributor, the Heat sent veteran center Joel Anthony to Boston last week as part of a three-team deal that brought guard Toney Douglas to Miami. But people around the league think the Heat are still looking to make another deal, for a wing, before the trade deadline," Aldridge reported.

The Heat were previously linked to Philadelphia 76ers forward Evan Turner, who is reportedly being shopped by his team, and the fourth-year forward could be the type of wing player Miami is looking for, as Sports World Report noted.

Turner, whose name is expected to be mentioned in several trade rumors before the deadline on Feb. 20, is averaging 18.5 points to go along with 6.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season.

With his scoring ability along with his knack for complementing his teammates, Turner is viewed as a good addition to the Heat especially with Dwyane Wade bothered by his ailing knee all season long.

Recent reports also indicated that the Heat could also shop for a point guard in the coming weeks. They previously expressed their interest in acquiring Kyle Lowry, but the Toronto Raptors reportedly turned down an offer.

With the chances of acquiring Lowry getting slimmer as the Raptors look firm in keeping the veteran playmaker, sources said that the Heat could shift their attention to the Chicago Bulls' Kirk Hinrich.

A trade between the Heat and the Bulls is unlikely, considering their rivalry, but the Bulls are looking like a team that is ready to trade Hinrich anytime if they can find a taker.

"...Hinrich could be an option if the team continues to sell after dealing Luol Deng to the Cavaliers. Lowry has been mentioned in multiple trades with the Raptors, including to the NY Knicks, but that talk has cooled and things could pick up once it gets closer to the trading deadline," Sports World Report noted.
