Mariana Seoane defended William Levy after various rumors stated that the Cuban actor had a bad attitude on the set of "La Tempestad."
Levy's co-star told the press that he was a great worker and he was wonderful to work with. She also said that he was not a diva and revealed that the day after Levy stormed out off set, the Cuban actor was in a good mood. She said, "I think it was because they did not allow his family into the studio. I can understand why he got upset. The important thing is that everything was fixed, we are filming the series and that he has an incredible attitude."
Seoane also revealed a little bit about her villainous character in the telenovela. She said, "My episodes are already airing, thank God. We hope that my character will be well received. She is a very daring character and one that is very dangerous. She also said that she was happy because she had the opportunity of working the best looking men."
Seoane was recently seen in the award winning soap opera "Por Ella Soy Eva," as well as "Mar de Amor." She also appeared in "Manana Es Para Siempre," "Tormenta en el Paraiso" and "La Fea Mas Bella." Seoane recently recorded her sixth album entitled "La Malquerida."
Levy made his comeback to Spanish television in "La Tempestad." He was recently working in the United States where he wrapped shooting on his new films "Addicted" and "Tyler Perry's Single Moms Club" and will begin work on a Salsa movie which also stars Jada Pinkett Smith.
"La Tempestad" began shooting March and is produced by Salvador Mejia. The series is based on the popular Colombian telenovela "La Tormenta" which starred Natalia Streignard and Christian Meier. "La Tempestad" also stars Ximena Navarrete, Arturo Peniche Ivan Sanchez, Jessica Coch, Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera and Luis Manuel Avila and airs in the US in July on Univision.
