A new champion will be crowned in the 2014 Australian Open after three-time defending champion Novak Djokovic was ousted by eighth-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka on Tuesday morning.

With Djokovic out of contention after his stunning upset loss, all eyes will be on three of the Big Four who are set to take the spotlight at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

Rafael Nadal will look to book the first Australian Open 2014 semifinals spot when he takes court against Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria in the third match of the first session that will start at 7 p.m. EST Tuesday.

Nadal, who is looking to win his second Aussie Open title after ruling the tournament in 2009, advanced to the quarterfinals via a hard-earned a 7-6 (7-3), 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) win over 16th-seeded Japanese Kei Nishikori in the fourth round.

On the other hand, Dimitrov is coming off a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win over Roberto Bautista Agut -- a victory that gave him a shot against the tournament favorite.

Pulling off an upset against Nadal, who ran away with straight-set victories in their first three meetings, is easier said than done for Dimitrov, but the 22-year-old Bulgarian likes his chances against Rafa.

"I had tough battles with him in the past. Played a couple times on clay. There were always little things missing. But I'm quite happy with the way I'm performing so far. So I like my chances," Dimitrov told Tennis.com on his upcoming match against the current world's No. 1 tennis player.

The winner of the Nadal-Dimitrov showdown will advance to the semifinals and will be pitted against the winner of the highly-anticipated duel between fourth-seeded Andy Murray and sixth-seeded Roger Federer.

The Murray vs. Federer match is scheduled to start at 3:30 a.m EST Wednesday.

Murray, who finished second in three of the last four editions of the tournament, booked a spot in the quarters after defeating Stephane Robert 6-1, 6-2, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2 in the fourth round, while Federer cruised to a straight-set win over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

The 26-year-old Briton, who holds an 11-9 advantage in their head-to-head matchup, will look to eliminate Federer for the second straight Australian Open after winning in their semi-final encounter in five sets last year.

In the women's side, 11th-seeded Simona Halep and 20th-seeded Dominika Cibulkova will kick off the proceedings at the Rod Laver Arena, followed by the match between second seed Victoria Azarenka and fifth seed Agnieszka Radwanska.
