The 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are set to air live Saturday on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. EST from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The SAG Awards are known for being a key indicator of who will win at the Academy Awards since the actors' group makes up the largest branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. That means that SAG members may have more leverage in determining Academy Awards winners than other groups, reports the Associated Press.

This year, "12 Years a Slave" leads with four nominees, including a nod for the night's top honor, outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture. Steve McQueen's slavery film will compete for SAG's top honor against ''American Hustle," ''Dallas Buyers Club," ''August: Osage County" and "Lee Daniels' The Butler."

The SAG Awards will also recognize a number of television categories including the best performance by an ensemble in a drama series. Nominees in that category are the casts of "Boardwalk Empire," "Breaking Bad," "Downton Abbey," "Game of Thrones" and "Homeland." For the best comedy series award, nominees are the casts of "30 Rock," "Arrested Development," "The Big Bang Theory," "Modern Family" and "Veep."

On Friday, another round of presenters was added to the roster that includes Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Tina Fey, John Goodman, Josh Holloway, Pauley Perrette and Jeremy Renner, reports CBS News. They join a list of previously announced presenters, including Ben Affleck, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Robert De Niro, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Garner, Tom Hanks, Mindy Kaling, Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Ewan McGregor, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Kerry Washington, Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey.

At the ceremony, actress Rita Moreno, known for her iconic role in "West Side Story," will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award presented by Morgan Freeman.
