Rumored case renders for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have popped up online recently.

Plenty of leaked images claiming to be the tech giant's next flagship device have surfaced these past few weeks. Majority of them came from smartphone case manufacturers, which have a capability to gain access to early designs so they can make accessories and cases for when the actual handset rolls out.

The most recent of these images showcased the VRS Design, formerly Verus. Check out the cases on Android Headlines.

Two photos have also leaked online claiming to be the front side of the Galaxy S7 Edge and the back of the Galaxy S7. The S7 Edge featured AnTuTu benchmark results for the Chinese model powered by Qualcomm, carrying the SM-G9350 version number. The leaks was published on nowhereelse.fr but originated from Chinese social network Weibo.

According to Forbes, the leaked images from Weibo didn't exactly showcase a Galaxy S7 with extraordinary design. This, however, wasn't surprising, given that tech companies can't be expected to make spectacular designs for their products each year. It's also possible that Samsung is aiming to save costs, and maintaining the similarities of their phones' designs could help attain that goal.

As for the camera, the leaked images showed a smaller camera budge than the ones present on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, Forbes added. There are also rumors claiming that the handset will be powered by a larger battery.

More Rumored Specs

Leaks suggested that the Galaxy S7 will be equipped with Android Marshmallow, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, and 12MP camera with f/1.7 aperture optimized for taking pictures in low-light environments, The Telegraph listed. Samsung, however, could go with the 16MP camera that was included in their smartphones last year.

Other rumored specs include pressure-sensitive touch and Retina scanner, the news outlet further reported. There are also claims of waterproofing and a battery performance with zero to 80 percent charging within 30 minutes, according to GSM Arena.

Release Date & Price

The Galaxy S7 will reportedly be released at the Mobile World Congress scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain at the end of this month, The Telegraph reported.

The device is expected to cost $740 for the Galaxy S7 and $890 for the Galaxy S7 Edge, GSM Arena added. After its release at the MWC, the Galaxy S7 will reportedly hit shelves in Vietnam on March 3 and in Europe on March 11.

Note that these are all rumors for now and fans have to wait for the MWC for the device's full specs.
