Caitlyn Jenner recently revealed how she and her ex-wife Kris coped with her urge to cross-dress while they were still married.

The "I Am Cait" star showed a video presentation at the Makers Conference in California explaining what it was like inside the Jenner household back in the day, per People.

"The rules, kind of, with Kris and I [were]: 'Don't dress up, certainly around the house, if you really need to do that, when you're on the road take stuff and do that,'" said Caitlyn. "So I did that for years."

Caitlyn, who was known as Bruce Jenner at that time, and Kris Kardashian were married on April 21, 1991. They went on to have two beautiful girls Kendall and Kylie, who are now 20 and 18, respectively. The former Olympian stressed that his greatest accomplishment was her kids. She also noted that the early years of her marriage with Kris was a great period in her life.

"Everything [was] really heading the right direction, and I made this decision to kind of move on with my life and Kris and I together and this family," she explained. "And [I thought], 'Okay, I've got to get rid of these gender things and get off hormones and this and that.' I actually had my boobs removed. I never told anybody that."

Caitlyn was totally honest with Kris about her gender when they were still dating. She couldn't hide it even if she tried, since she already had 36B breasts when they met.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" vet shared to News.com that her mission was to transition before she reached 40, but all that changed when Kris came into her life.

"I started on hormones. I was a good 36B. I loved them. I thought this was fabulous. My mission at that point was to transition before I was 40. Got to 39," she said. "I just couldn't go any further."

After 23 years of marriage, Kris filed for divorce in September 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple's divorce terms were finalized in December 2014, US Weekly reported.

Kris has yet to comment on Caitlyn's recent claims, but the Kardashian mom was reportedly upset by what her ex-spouse revealed in an issue of Vanity Fair.

Caitlyn became the darling of the press when she openly admitted to being a transgender woman in April 2015. A month later, she sparked a social media frenzy which carved her name into the Guinness World Records as the fastest personality to reach one million followers on Twitter.
