On Monday, Jan. 20, an all-new episode of "How I Met Your Mother" will air that promises to show "Barney like you've never seen him before," according to a trailer video.

In the upcoming episode, which is titled "Unpause," viewers will have an opportunity to see what is going to happen when Barney actually has to admit to everything that he has done throughout his life, reports the Hollywood Hills. The legends are over, and now the mission is instead going to be all about the truth.

According to the teaser video, fans will see "Barney like you've never seen him before."

"He can't lie," Ted says to Robin.

The storyline will also revolve around Marshall and Lily who will address their future in light of Lily's plan to go to Italy for a job opportunity. Throughout season 9, the couple has experienced constant drama in their relationship since Marshall took a job as a judge in New York City, drastically affecting Lily's plan to her work with the Captain in Italy.

The title of the episode is a reference to Lily declaring a "pause" on their impending fighting when he arrived to Farhampton, mostly so that they could deal with their mountain of issues, notes CarterMatt.

A full synopsis issued by CBS, states:

"When Barney drinks too much, Ted and Robin take advantage of him and get him to reveal secrets he's been hiding for years. Meanwhile, Marshall does everything he can to avoid fighting with Lily."

"How I Met Your Mother" S9E15 is set to air on Monday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
