It girl, Becky G, is the cover girl for the March 2016 Latina Magazine. The newest Latina icon has come a long way since her days of covering songs on YouTube.

Latina Magazine says that there is no stopping the singer now. The 18-year old singer has a lot on her plate nowadays. She is all set to play the Yellow Ranger in the upcoming "Power Rangers" movie reboot. While she might have broken off from a tumultuous relationship with Austin Mahone, she is moving on from the drama and shaking it off.

The singer, whose real name is Rebbeca Marie Gomez, is the epitome of spunk and confidence in her cover shoot for Latina Magazine. She has been known to integrate her Latin heritage into pop-rock music genre. She added that she was glad she did not pull a "Kylie Jenner" when she turned 18, pointing out that nothing much has changed over the last couple of years. She revealed that she still lives with her family and prefers wearing sneakers over ridiculously high heels.

"I'm still babysitting my siblings." she revealed.

She also said that she was amused about where her career has taken her these couple of years. Becky G has already toured with Katy Perry and J. Balvin, and she is currently putting the final touches on her debut album.

Becky G said that her dream came true when she toured with Katy Perry in Mexico City. The singer admitted that she is super proud of her heritage, and she wanted to incorporate that love and pride when she performed in front of those 40,000 people. 

Just Jared, Jr. also revealed the real reason why she broke up with Austin Mahone. The pair started off as friends before taking their relationship to the next level. She admitted that when it started, it was exciting because she was "dating a pop star" and it was basically living the dream. She admitted that they were not going to keep their relationship a secret.

However, she added that the relationship had to come to an end because they had to put things on "pause" as they are establishing their careers. Becky G admitted that seeing someone she loved find happiness in another person was another tough pill to swallow.

The young girl certainly hasn't taken the easy route when it comes to climbing the ladder of success. Despite how far she has gone, though, the teenager says that she is just getting started.
