Dwayne Johnson has dropped some new production photos that give a teaser preview of Disney's upcoming film, "Moana." The computer-animated musical fantasy adventure is about a young Polynesian woman who tests her navigational skills in searching for a legendary island.

In a report with Comicbook.com, Dwayne Johnson, also known as "The Rock," shared a selfie on Instagram showing himself doing production work on the upcoming Disney princess film. The actor shared that he was a bit "nervous," saying that he was about to do a musical number in the film. He also hinted that he does not quite trust his own "musical capabilities."

It was revealed that Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of hit musical "Hamilton," will write music for the highly anticipated "Moana." The film will debut this fall, and already production is going full-swing. The entire cast and crew are putting together the pieces that will bring the spirited teenager to life.

While Moana is on a journey towards her own self-discovery, her companion, demi-god Maui is also on a journey of self-discovery as well. The unlikely pair have to make a perilous trip to the fabled island in order to save Moana's family.

Johnson voices the once powerful demi-god Maui. It is not known what Maui's motivation for helping Moana is, but the pair is about to embark to the farthest recesses of the world. It was also noted that Maui is Moana's hero, and in Polynersian lore, Maui is either depicted as a demi-god or fully divine. At times, he is also depicted as human.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Johnson had nothing but admiration for Miranda, calling him an "epically dope artist." The former WWE star also admitted that he was going to have to do some serious preparation for the film, as he somehow has to make his "honey coated gravel voice" sound wonderful for the film.

So far, there have been no updates as to the musical numbers in the film. In true Disney fashion, it is most likely that the "Broadway King" will pen a hit to rival 2013's "Let it Go" from "Frozen."

Miranda also teased to his fans that the music writing was "doing well." On Twitter, he also teased that he played a few tunes for his wife, who got emotional.

"Moana" premieres in theaters on Nov. 23.
