Nokia next Lumia update has arrived in Mexico, and two Lumia smartphones have begun accepting it.

The Lumia Black update has been confirmed for the Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 625, Lumia 720, Lumia 820, Lumia 920, Lumia 925, and Lumia 1020 smartphones. The rollout, however, will vary by Mexico's mobile carriers.

Mobile carriers Lusacell, Movistar, and Telcel are confirmed to rollout the Lumia Black update for the Lumia 520 Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Nokia, however, has labeled the update for the Lumia 520, "Waiting for approval."

"Waiting for approval," per Nokia, has been defined as "undergoing final testing with Nokia, country or operator to achieve approval."

Movistar and Telcel are the two main mobile carriers set to distribute the Lumia Black update for the Lumia 620, however, it is also "Waiting for approval."

Telcel remains as the lone major carrier to rollout the Lumia Black for the Lumia 625 and Lumia 720, but it follows the "Waiting" trend.

The Lumia 820's update is on the "Waiting" stage from Movistar and Telcel.

Lusacell and Movistar are on the "Waiting on approval" phase for the Lumia 920 as is Telcel for the Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020.

According to Nokia, "Country variant" versions for the Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 have rolled out the Lumia Black update with version "3051.40000.1347.0001" and "3051.40000.1345.1001" respectively.

To check if the Lumia Black update is available, Lumia smartphone owners can go to "Settings" to "Phone update."

"Nokia Lumia Black updates the imaging experiences on your Lumia and makes using the Windows Phone even more fluid," said Samuli Hänninen, vice president of software program management for Nokia's Smart Devices business, via Nokia Conversations.

The Lumia Black update features include the App Folder, which gives the Lumia smartphone owner the option to organize and personalize their Start screen. Nokia Glance screen 2.0 is also featured in the update and is able to monitor information in real time from calendar, emails, messages, outlook, or apps such as Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp, to name a few.
