Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz has added another Grammy nomination to his list of achievements, which already includes 3 Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammy Awards.

Despite all the success in the music industry, Sanz said that he remains grounded and makes it a point to look back to where he came from, per a Latin American Herald Tribune report.

"I come from an Andalusian family where they have the key to keeping your feet solidly on the ground," the 47-year-old musician said.

He added that bragging about his accomplishments will not do him any good, as people will notice and would not like that about him.

"I had very humble beginnings. I worked in studios bringing people coffee and being conceited just doesn't feel comfortable for me," Sanz claimed.

Life, according to him, is better enjoyed by simply having fun with the people you love, like family and friends.

Latin American Herald Tribune mentioned that he remains grounded, despite the 23 million copies he sold.

He is currently going around Latin America for his "Sirope Vivo" tour to promote his album entitled "Sirope." Sanz is also hopeful that this album will pave the way for him to win his fourth Grammy award for the Best Latin Pop Album. The tour started last January 29 in Mexico.

"I've put together a kind of play that narrates my career from my latest song to my earliest. I end the show with 'Pisando fuerte,' a song I hadn't performed in years, and which has lyrics I wrote as a teen," Sanz told Billboard.

He added that this is the first time he planned a show as if he were putting together memorable photos in an album.

Sanz said that he usually scans an album from beginning to end, noting that this is how his concert should be enjoyed.

The singer has already grabbed the award in previous years for his albums "Paraiso Express" in 2010, "El Tren de los Momentos" in 2007 and "Nos Es lo Mismo" in 2003.

As per Latin Times, a lot of people are also excited for his possible tour in North America, especially in the United States.

But it said that his Sirope Vivo special concert will be aired by HBO Latino next month.

The show was reportedly filmed at the Barclaycard Center in Madrid, and will be shown on February 12 at 8 p.m. This special was announced after similar shows by Yandel, Reik and Thalia last year.
