Telltale Games is one of the busiest developers in the video game industry right now; the group made waves when they announced that they were developing games based on the Borderlands and "Game of Thrones" franchises in 2014 and is also releasing a new batch of episodes as season two of their critically-acclaimed The Walking Dead series. With all these projects going on simultaneously, many fans may have forgotten about The Wolf Among Us, the episodic game based on the "Fables" comic book. Well, get ready to fall in love with The Wolf Among Us again. Telltale has announced episode two of the series will be available in the first week of February.

The first episode of The Wolf Among Us, "Faith," was first released in October 2013, leading some to wonder when exactly the rest of the game's content would become available. Telltale Games announced the latest episode on its community forums and assured fans that the rest of the episodes will not have as long gaps between them.

"We are very concerned about the long delay for this episode, but this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays). I won't dive into the details, but it's been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we goforward with the rest of the season," wrote Telltale Games. 

It is unclear exactly when episode two of The Wolf Among Us will be released, but Telltale is reportedly working with all its distribution partners to ensure everyone gets the game around the same time. Feb. 4 may be the date the game begins to roll out to users as publishers usually release games on Tuesdays; Feb. 4 is the first Tuesday of the month.

The Wolf Among Us brings the world of "Fables," the Vertigo Comics series, to life. Telltale broke up the game into five episodes, which will be available separately or as part of a season pass that will allow users to buy all of the game's content at once. The game follows Bigby Wolf, the so-called sheriff of Fabletown. Fabletown, as the name implies, is a secret city within New York City that houses different magical creatures. Bigby must make sure that the magical residents of Fabletown avoid revealing the city's existence to outsiders while keeping the peace among the mystical characters found in Fabletown.
