Award-winning actress Gina Rodriguez gives away one of her Golden Globes gowns to a fan for prom, once again proving people that they are right to adore her.

Last week, Latina Magazine featured the "Jane the Virgin" star's exchange with a fan named Jessica Casanova from Buffalo, New York, who politely asked the actress to lend her the midnight blue Zac Posen gown she wore during this year's Golden Globe awards.

In a Tweet, the student told Rodriguez how she "would love to wear your Golden Globes dress to prom."

While the off-the-shoulder gown in question was only loaned by the designer to the actress for the red carpet event, the Puerto Rican-born star worked on a compromise.

According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, Rodriguez offered her young fan the dress she wore during last year's Golden Globes where she won an award -- the black strapless one desgined by Badgley Mischka. The outlet reached out to the New Yorker and discovered that the two did work things out as confirmed in a Tweet from Casanova.

The exchange caught the attention of the media as well as Rodriguez's Twitter followers' attention, most of who applauded her for her genuine kindness.

"@HereIsGina the sweetest human being award goes to you as usual," Twitter user Nina a.k.a. @janesthevirgin posted on the exchange.

Meanwhile, E! News described the 31-year-old actress as "an absolute gem" initially for responding to the tweet and second, for acting as a fairy godmother by offering a stunning gown for the young girl's prom.

Rodriguez hails from Chicago, Illinois, but was born into a Puerto Rican family.

According to IMDb, the Hollywood Reported dubbed her as the "next big thing," and has earned a spot as one of the "top 35 Latinos under 35."

Her big break was when she played the titular character in "Filly Brown" in 2012 where she was named the "Best Actress for a Feature Film" during the Sundance Film Festival in 2012.

She also starred in several movies and shows including "Jonny Zero," "Our Family Wedding," "Go For It," "Army Wives," and "Law and Order."

She is currently famous for her dream role as Jane Villanueva in the CW TV series "Jane the Virgin," which earned her last year's Golden Globe Award for "Best Actress in a Comedy Series."

"This award is so much more than myself. It represents a culture that wants to see themselves as heroes. My father used to tell me to say every morning: 'Today is going to be a great day. I can and I will.' Well, Dad. Today is a great day. I can and I did," she said after receiving her Golden Globes.
