Diablo 3 has been a smash success for Blizzard, selling a huge amount of copies on the PC before coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and earning even more fans. Blizzard has confirmed the game will be coming to the PlayStation 4 as well, but the company has not yet committed the game to the Xbox One. However, a new leak may indicate the game will indeed be coming to Microsoft's next-gen system as well.

United Kingdom retailer Argos has a pre-order webpage up for Diablo 3 on the Xbox One. Not much information about the game is on the page, but the game has a price of £62.99, with 2014 listed for the release date. This is similar to a pre-order page found on the Best Buy Canada website that has since been taken down.

This pre-order page is legitimate, and people can indeed reserve the Xbox One version of Diablo 3 through the Argos page. This makes it appear that this listing is no mistake, and Blizzard may indeed be planning an Xbox One version of the game. When Eurogamer sought out an answer from Blizzard, the company was very vague about the possibility that Xbox One users could play the game.

"One of our goals is to bring Diablo 3 to as many players as possible, but we don't have any other platform announcements to share at this time," Blizzard told Eurogamer.

This is not a denial on Blizzard's part, so Xbox One owners may indeed be able to look forward to Diablo 3 for the console. The Xbox 360 version of the game was announced after the PlayStation 3 version of the game, so perhaps Blizzard is doing something similar with the next-gen versions of the game. Blizzard may be holding off announcing the Xbox One version of Diablo 3 because it is further back in the development cycle, or that version of the game has been delayed because Blizzard is adding Kinect functionality to the game.

Diablo 3 does not have a release date for the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One if the game is indeed coming to the console. Blizzard has indicated that the PlayStation 4 version of the game would be released after the Reaper of Souls expansion is released in March.
