In case you haven't seen the amazing photo making waves around the internet, the cast of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Friends" came together in an epic photo op.
If you're wondering what these stars have in common other than being paid the biggest bucks in television (almost every one of them had a hefty $1M per episode paycheck at the height of their respective sitcoms), they were together for a tribute broadcast honoring TV director James Burrows over the weekend, as reported by CBS News. Burrows has helmed both TV shows at some point in his time.
The photo showed "The Big Bang Theory" stars Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, and Simon Helberg together with "Friends" cast Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Matt Le Blanc. Matthew Perry was not able to attend the event.

Cuoco showed her excitement by posting the epic photo, captioned, "Ummmm NIGHT MADE. Can't breathe #friends meets #bbt@bigbangtheory_cbs I died and went to heaven."
Galecki also shared the same photo, with the amazing sitcom mashup receiving over 230,000 likes on Cuoco's end, and another 100,000 on Galecki's.
The photo was taken at the heels of the "Friends" reunion announcement for a one-off TV special. As reported by The Daily Mail, the entire cast, save for Matthew Perry, will be making appearances on the James Burrows tribute set to be aired on February 21.
Perry's absence is due in part to the play that he's doing in London. However, he did admit that the show will not revolve around the group, noting that "It's not the Friends reunion that everybody's hoping for."
He will still be making an appearance with the help of a pre-recorded segment that he filmed in London. Perry shared, "They're celebrating Jim Burrows, who was a director of Friends and the five of them are going to be on this special and I'm going to introduce them from here because I'm doing the play [in London]."
David Schwimmer agreed, insisting that the "reunion" everyone hoped for is still not happening, as the event is not so much a "Friends" reunion as it is a Jimmy Burrows tribute.
Schwimmer told a reporter, 'There's no Friends reunion. It's a tribute to Jimmy Burrows, who we love, and I'm just thrilled to be a part of it." He also added, "This man is an incredible director who helped define situation comedy in this country in the last 40 years so I love him and I'm excited to be there."
Reunion or not, the crazy Instagram photo has already given fans a lot of feels. Don't you wish there was an actual "The Big Bang Theory" and "Friends" mashup in the works?
