The Nokia Lumia Black has been confirmed as the next software update for the Lumia smartphones, and it's set to rollout in Spain.

According to Nokia, the Lumia Black update has been confirmed for the Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 625, Lumia 720, Lumia 820, Lumia 920, Lumia 925, and Lumia 1020 smartphones. The rollout, however, will vary by the Spanish mobile carriers.

For the Lumia 520, mobile carriers Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, and Yoigo are expected to distribute the Lumia Black update. Nokia noted the update for the Lumia 520 is "Waiting for approval."

The term "Waiting for approval," per Nokia, means it's "undergoing final testing with Nokia, country or operator to achieve approval."

Movistar and Vodafone are also "Waiting for approval" for the Lumia 620.

In regards to the Lumia 625, the "Waiting" trend continues from Movistar and Orange. Vodafone is also expected to rollout the Lumia Black update, but it has been labeled as "Coming soon."

"Coming soon," per Nokia," means the update has been "approved, in final pre-release checks."

The main mobile carrier set to distribute the update for the Lumia 720 is Vodafone, but it is also on the "Waiting" phase.

Movistar's update for the Lumia 820 is also "Waiting for approval."

Meanwhile, the Lumia 920, Lumia 925, and Lumia 1020 updates are officially listed as "Available."

The Lumia 920 and Lumia 925's Lumia Black update is available from Vodafone. In addition, Movistar and Orange have rolled out the Lumia Black for the Lumia 925.

Finally, the Lumia 1020's update can be installed from Movistar and Vodafone.

The Lumia Black update features include the App Folder, which gives the Lumia smartphone owner the option to organize and personalize their Start screen. Nokia Glance screen 2.0 is also featured in the update and is able to monitor information in real time from calendar, emails, messages, outlook, or apps such as Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp, to name a few.

"Nokia Lumia Black updates the imaging experiences on your Lumia and makes using the Windows Phone even more fluid," said Samuli Hänninen, vice president of software program management for Nokia's Smart Devices business, via Nokia Conversations.

To check if the Lumia Black update is available, Lumia smartphone owners can go to "Settings" to "Phone update."
