The New York Knicks are slowly finding their rhythm after a shaky start this season, but the team is still looking for additional help elsewhere--particularly at Denver Nuggets point guard Andre Miller, according to new reports.

ESPN reported Saturday that the Knicks, who are currently on a four-game winning streak, are interested in trading for Miller, who is reportedly being shopped by the Denver Nuggets after his much-publicized verbal attack on Nuggets coach Brian Shaw.

Sources said that the Knicks are still looking for a steady playmaker to back up or take the starting spot from often-injured point guard Raymond Felton.

The Knicks previously expressed interest in trading for Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, but negotiations went down due to the high asking price of the Raptors. Lowry's name has since been removed from the trading block, according to sources, prompting the Knicks to look for other options, which includes Miller.

Miller, who is playing in his 15th season in the league, could bring backcourt stability to the Knicks, but it remains to be seen whether or not the Knicks will be willing to surrender precious assets.

The Knicks backed out of the Lowry deal after the Raptors asked for the Knicks' 2018 first round pick and another young asset, which indicates that they are not willing to take a gamble by using their future assets.

Knicks Getting Calls For Tyson Chandler, Iman Shumpert

Meanwhile, ESPN New York reported Monday that the Knicks are getting calls from other teams inquiring about the availability of Tyson Chandler and Iman Shumpert.

But despite having a slow start this season, the Knicks are not yet ready to waive the white flag and trade key players, knowing that their title hopes this season are getting slimmer.

Sources said that the Knicks will not engage in trade talks involving Shumpert, Chandler or rookie guard Tim Hardaway Jr.

The Knicks were reportedly shopping Shumpert earlier this season, but the 23-year-old guard's recent resurgence made the Knicks think twice about parting ways with the former Georgia Tech standout, who averaged 14.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in their last six games.

Reports added that the Knicks will only make a trade before the trade deadline if they find a taker for troubled guard J.R. Smith. The veteran guard is being shopped by the Knicks due to his erratic behavior on and off the court, but New York has yet to receive an offer from any team.
