Hollywood's biggest stars will attend the 71st Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in LA as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will recognize some of the best in film and television througout 2013.

"American Hustle" and "12 Years a Slave" have been honored with seven nominations each, including nods in their respective Best Picture categories, reports the LA Times. The films also earned directing nominations for Steve McQueen and David O. Running against "12 Years a Slave" for best motion picture drama are "Captain Phillips," "Gravity," "Philomena" and "Rush."

"I think '12 Years a Slave' is really the frontrunner," said Variety's Ramin Setoodeh to CBS News. "It's picked up a lot of the precursor awards and the critics really like it. So I think that will probably win for best picture drama."
