The movie adaptation of the popular 1990s TV series "Baywatch" has just revealed the star they chose to play Pamela Anderson's popular character and it is someone with a clean slate.
"Sports Illustrated" model Kelly Rohrbach was able to snatch the highly coveted role of CJ Parker in the upcoming 2017 Paramount film, the Hollywood Reporter revealed Monday.
According to the outlet, Rohrbach will be joining the stellar cast to play the famous, sexy California lifeguards, comprised of "High School Musical" hunk Zac Efron and "San Andreas" star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Unlike her co-stars, the model-actress has very few projects on her résumé per iMDB, including the 2013 flick "The PET Squad Files," 2012's "Wilt," and an untitled Woody Allen project set for release this 2016.
The site also revealed that she was schooled in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and has recently been dubbed as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie of the Year.
CJ Parker is a member of the Los Angeles County Lifeguards portrayed by hot TV personality Pamela Anderson in the drama series aired that from 1989 through 1999.
Now, Rohrbach will be filling Anderson's swimsuit, who has become what Cinema Blend deemed as "a world renowned figure" since the now-48-year-old actress and model portrayed it from 1992 to 1997.
The cast and crew are excited to welcome her to the slowly-but-surely growing "Baywatch" movie family.
In fact, Johnson even posted an Instagram video showcasing their version of the iconic "Baywatch" slow-motion running scenes.

According to Variety, Johnson will be teaming up with Dany Garcia via their Seven Bucks Productions, together with Beau Flynn, Ivan Reitman, Douglas Schwartz, Michael Berk and Greg Bonnan.
The movie, whose plot still remains unknown as of the writing of this article, will be penned by "Friday the 13th" writers Mark Swift and Damian Shannon.
However, a source from Variety noted that the filmmakers are leaning towards a more comedic version of the hit TV series, while Hollywood Reporter got word that the movie would involve heroic feats of the elite lifeguard team, led by Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) and a young ex-Olympian played by Efron.
Of course, all of this should be taken with a grain of salt since no official statement from those directly involved in the project have been released yet.
Production is expected to begin in the next couple of months and its target release date is sometime in 2017.
