Cuban-American and U.S. presidential candidate Marco Rubio criticized his fellow candidates, even calling former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a "liar."

According to ABC News, Rubio also tagged Clinton as "incompetent" and hit the "isolationist" candidates in his own party.

"We have Republican candidates who propose that rulers like [Bashar al-] Assad and [Vladimir] Putin should be partners of the United States, and who have voted with Barack Obama and Harry Reid rather than with our men and women in uniform," Rubio said in his New Hampshire speech as he aimed at Donald Trump, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.

CNN noted that after the statements of his fellow candidates, he also accused Clinton of lying to Americans about the real reason behind the Benghazi attacks.

"If I am our nominee, voters will be reminded of it time and time again," he added.

For the "isolationist" candidates, Rubio said that these people have given more attention on the weakening military capabilities of the country, rather than focusing on how to defeat their enemies.

He explained that by doing such, the United States will not be able to keep its citizens safe.

Aside from these tirades, USA Today claimed that Rubio also took his time to attack the administration of President Obama. He mentioned the country's "foreign policy disasters" like in the Middle East, North Korea and Russia.

Rubio added that Obama, under his leadership, has weakened the country.

"He has made an intentional effort to humble us back to size. As if to say: We no longer need to be so powerful because our power has done more harm than good," the current US senator added.

Meanwhile, Fox News Latino noted that Rubio also called his opponents as people who "talk tough," but could not keep the US safe.

He added that part of his plans, if ever he gets elected, is to strengthen the intelligence programs of the government in its home base. Rubio was also steadfast in saying that the will have no qualms in treating US citizens as enemies if they betray their country.

Apart from these plans, the United States senator also wants to run after terrorists online.

The Washington Times said that Rubio has suggested that the government should use web targeting and behavioural tracking techniques to find terrorists.

He claimed that the information, which can be accessed by other companies like packages online, could be a great help to the efforts of the intelligence community.
