Chris Brown is being accused of battery by a Brazilian model, eventually identified by TMZ as Liziane Gutierrez. The alleged victim claims that the singer punched her in the face and took her phone after she attempted to snap a photo of him.

A report was filed to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department last Saturday morning about the said altercation, which took place outside a suite at the Palms Casino Resort, where a private after party was being held. Brown was in Vegas for a New Year's Eve show.

"A crime report has been taken for misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor battery listing Mr. Brown as a suspect," a press release picked up by USA Today read, adding that the accuser "appeared to have minor injuries sustained as a result of a battery."

Officials in charge of the investigation also recounted that Gutierrez was ushered out of the place by the hotel security "due to the disturbance in the hallway. She returned to the hotel to report the incident, but the "Five More Hours" singer allegedly already left.

Brown's publicist Nicole Perna denies the accusations against the singer and called the claims "unequivocally untrue." Perna states via Latino Fox News that Gutierrez was escorted out of the party "for being disruptive and out of control."

"Once she was in the hallway, while waiting for Chris Brown's security to bring out her phone, she had a total meltdown - throwing her purse to the ground and claiming that she 'could buy everyone in the hotel' - as witnessed by numerous people waiting to get into the party," Perna said.

"The Palms Casino Resort security also saw her wild behavior via hotel security cameras and immediately came up to the hallway to escort her out of the hotel," she added. Brown's team ultimately dismisses the Brazilian model's story as "a complete fabrication."

Brown, on the other hand, posted a video message on his Instagram account as his response to the growing controversy. "Keeping my circle small in 2016! I'm done taking the care of grown ... men," the "Loyal" said in the video.

"And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow ... up," he added. Gutierrez responded to the video with a clip of her own, posted by TMZ.
