"Sleepy Hollow" will make its return to Fox with an all-new episode on Jan. 13, 2014.

As you may recall, right before the show went on a winter hiatus, Ichabod learned that Katrina concealed the birth of his son Jeremy, who inherited his mother's supernatural powers. However, after the boy refused to join forces with Katrina's coven, The Four Who Speak as One, the witches put a hex on him to stop his heart and buried him. Abbie also discovered that her ancestor assisted Jeremy's birth, while Capt. Irving's daughter Macey was being stalked by a malevolent creature. Moloch also revealed that he was going after Abbie's soul and prophesied that Ichabod would deliver it to him.

While fans are anxious to see how the story line between Ichabod and his son unfolds next Monday, the series co-creator revealed a cryptic teaser about Jeremy when asked if he is really dead.

"You know, when you're dealing with God and the devil and that kind of thing, anything's possible," said executive producer Roberto Orci, according to TV Line.

In the upcoming episode titled "The Vessel," Ancitif, a minion of Moloch who is able to transfer into and possess different bodies, will return to Sleepy Hollow after seven years to deliver a warning to Irving. He must also deliver George Washington's Bible or something horrible will happen to Macey, reports the Hollywood Hills.

In the meantime, Ichabod and Abbie search Corbin's archive to find a way to defeat Ancitiff. However, they will also discover something shocking about one of the demon's past victims and figured out how to get hold of a relic.

Meanwhile, Irving protects his family although the demon makes his way into the ranks of the police department. Jenny is also going to reveal something about her past that could help strengthen her bond with Abbie.

According to Hypable, an official synopsis for the episode states that:

"When Capt. Iriving's daughter, Macy, becomes the target of evil forces, he makes a desperate plea to Crane and Mills for help, and seeks answers that lie within Washington's Bible. Meanwhile, a frightening chapter of Jenny's past is revealed."

The final three Season 1 shows kick off on Jan. 13, leading up to a special two-hour season finale event on Jan. 20 on Fox.
