Pre-orders are now available for those wishing to acquire Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" on Wii U.

According to Amazon, the game and Amiibo bundle can now be pre-ordered at the online retailer giant for $60, Wii U Daily reported. The "Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" can be purchased with the Wolf Link Amiibo and is heading exclusively to the Wii U on March 4, 2016.

A month ago, GameSpot also offered pre-orders of the game, although copies were sold out quickly, Wii U Daily noted.

The remastered version of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" was first announced in November, Tech Insider wrote. The original game was launched for the Wii console in 2006, and eventually rolled out on the Nintendo GameCube. However, neither of these consoles was able to provide high-definition visuals just like Nintendo's newest console, the Wii U.

In the game, series protagonist Link must re-establish the kingdom of Hyrule from a corrupted dimension called the Twilight Realm, Tech Insider noted. Link has numerous weapons to choose from, but this time he also has the power to transform into a wolf, an ability that gives him an advantage when it comes to detecting clues.

Next year's Wii U version of "Zelda: Twilight Princess" is essentially an HD remaster, which means that there are no new missions or subplots, the news outlet added. But Nintendo still provided new things to make playing the game a fresh experience, such as a new Amiibo figurine modeled after the game's characters.

The "Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" will also showcase five other Nintendo Amiibo figurines, which are all fashioned after the "Legend of Zelda" characters, such as Toon Link and Zelda herself, Tech Insider wrote.

Producer Eiji Aonuma said in November that the map for Wii U's "Zelda: Twilight Princess" will be about the size of Kyoto, which is 320 square miles, Gamepur reported. If this turns out to be true, the game's map would be 22x the size of "Skyrim," 10x bigger than "Grand Theft Auto V," and 6x "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt."

However, this size doesn't make the title the largest open world game out there. "Just Cause 2" is at 400 square miles, "Guild Wars: Nightfall" is at 15,000 square miles, and "Test Drive Unlimited" and "Fuel" are at 600 square miles and 5,560 square miles respectively, Gamepur noted.
