Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been one of the most successful games to come out in 2013, and so far Ubisoft has released two different DLC packs for the game. Now, the publisher has revealed the third piece of the DLC, which fans can begin playing right now across many different platforms and regions.

Ubisoft announced the new DLC, "Illustrious Pirates," through a blog post, and detailed what fans can expect from the game and how much the DLC will cost if users do not have the season pass for the game:

"Extend and enhance your game with three new single-player outfits, three missions, Jackdaw customization options and multiplayer items. The whole pack only costs $7, unless you're a Season Pass holder, in which case it's already yours. The Illustrious Pirates Pack is available for download right now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in North America. Other territories will have access to Xbox One and Xbox 360 today, with PS4 and PS3 arriving tomorrow. PC will be available globally tomorrow," Ubisoft wrote on its blog.

The new content will allow users to access a variety of different items based on famous pirates. The three different single player missions are based on different islands: Black Island, Mystery Island and Sacrifice Island. Completing these missions unlocks single player and multiplayer items. The Black Island mission gives players the Captain Morgan Outfit, Picture, and Title for the game in addition to the Captain Morgan silver flintlock pistols and the pirate's Black Ship. Mystery Island will have the Digital Illustrated Fable along with Stede Bonnet's ship and outfit and additional multiplayer items. Finally, Captain Drake's Picture, Title and Relics will become available along with Captain Drake's Swords and Pistols will be available.

These items are not the only pieces of new content found in the new DLC. Iron and Ivory wheels for the Jackdaw will be available for purchase to decorate the ship. Several different relics, pictures, and titles will also be unlocked by buying this DLC. Finally, German Rapier Swords will be added to the game as well.
The "Illustrious Pirates" DLC for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag offers some fun change of pace items for multiplayer matches in the game while adding some new single-player content for those looking to explore new territory in the game.
