The Usos Brothers kicked off Friday Night Smackdown against the The Wyatts' Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a tag team match that ended in a double-count out after the referee lost control of the match. After the bout, the lights went out and Daniel Bryan appeared in the ring, clearing house and helping Bray Wyatt beat down the Usos, who hit Sister Abigail on one of the Usos to further make his point.

The Miz hosted MizTV with the Big Show as his guest. The Big Show went on and challenged Brock Lesnar to match at the Royal Rumble after Lesnar cut the line for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship title match and for taking out Mark Henry in back-to-back weeks, including injuring Henry's arm with a Kimura armlock.

Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, and Los Matadores beat The Real Americans - Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, Curtis Axel, and Ryback in an Eight Man Tag Team match, after Mysterio nailed Swagger with the 619 and a body splash for the victory.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, who said in an earlier interview that he will discuss The Shield at the next edition of Monday Night Raw, defeated Intercontinental champion Big E Langston, in a non-title fight, after Orton nailed the RKO on Langston to beat the young WWE superstar.

Summer Rae could not help her dance partner, Fandango, this week against Xavier Woods, who managed to beat Fandango after rolling him up for the pinfall.

The Shield came out to cut a promo prior to their main event Six Man Tag Team match, with United States Champion Dean Ambrose complaining he is having nightmares from having Jake "The Snake" Roberts' pet, Damien, slither all over him, Roman Reigns bragging that he is the best in the world after beating CM Punk, and Seth Rollins threatening to take out the New Age Outlaws.

In the main event, The Shield defeated CM Punk and the New Age Outlaws - Billy Gunn & Road Dogg, after Roman Reigns nailed Gunn with a Spear to finish off their opponents, before The Shield ran out of the ring to end the show.
