Fans of the Harry Potter franchise are in for a treat, as the trailer for the movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" has officially been released.

On Tuesday, Warner Bros. Pictures has finally unveiled the magic-field two-minute clip that served as a first glimpse of the highly anticipated Harry Potter franchise extension, thanks to the seven-book series' author.

Check it out:

As the title implies, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" is a book that tackles magical creatures from the world of Harry Potter, authored by the Rowling's brainchild, the magizoologist known as Newt Scamander.

In the film, the book's would-be author is played by "Les Miserables" star Eddie Redmayne who, according to Deadline, appears in the world of witchcraft and wizardry 70 years before the events in the well-loved book series.

"Fantastic Beasts" is a book that Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) himself studied during his stay at Hogwarts.

Harry Potter fans would definitely have noticed three, very amazing magical sequences in the clip. Short as they may be, we have still decided to share them with those who are just beginning to warm up to the epic series.

Lumos Maxima

The first few seconds of the trailer focuses in on the pitch black background with a small glow, as the words "lumos maxima" are being whispered.

According to Cinema Blend, this is a sort of a throwback from the "Prisoner of Azkaban," the third Harry Potter installment, where the patronus spell was introduced.

The patronus spell was shown to be the most effective way of repelling Death Eaters that almost killed Harry Potter's godfather, Sirius Black, because of the amount of light it emits.

The Confession

The second notable scene shows Katherine Waterston's character, Porpentina or Tina, entering a grand hall carrying a suit case, where she seems to be in a confession of sorts with a woman who appears to be the head of the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA).

This, says Deadline, is the scene where the plot is laid out because Waterston's dialogue is played throughout the trailer: "Yesterday, a wizard entered New York with a case -- a case full of magical creatures. And unfortunately some have escaped."

Storyline

The third most amazing scene shown in the clip involves a third sighting of the suitcase which, from Tina's confession, is full of magical creatures.

According to Newt, the case was opened "just a smidge," which was enough to launch an entire adventure that was worth writing in a book.

There sure is more to the movie than is shown in the trailer, but it is more than enough for fans to feed on while waiting (for almost a year) for the theatrical release of "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them," which arrives in theaters on November 18, 2016.
