After the unexpected victory of Democratic Unity in Venezuela's election against the Socialist Party on Sunday, former President Nicolas Maduro is said to be accepting his defeat. However, there were reports that the 53-year-old politician told the military to stay alert for a possible disturbance.

According to Reuters, the head of state alerted the nation of a "large-scale crisis" coming to their country because of the battle between his leading party and the victorious opposition on Saturday. To recall, the Democratic Unity won by a landslide and took two-thirds of the winning votes for the new National Assembly.

They now have the sole power to lead Venezuela and change the current state's governing rules and authority to create a more "opposition" friendly state.

"We're facing a large-scale crisis that is going to generate a power struggle between two poles: the patriots and the anti-patriots," Maduro said in his speech for the military. "A conflict which is going to create big tensions ... It's a counter-revolutionary crisis."

The winning party revealed their first step will be to free the political prisoners led by Leopoldo Lopez, but the reigning president contradicted this plan by not signing the amnesty law. The ruling assembly, too, opted for more ways to not let the Democratic Unity take control by passing "extra-budgetary" bills.

In fact, they even promoted the judge who imprisoned 44-year-old Lopez. The Venezuelan government is also working to appoint new delegates to the Supreme Court for the potential constitutional feuds between the leaders and parliament.

Fox News Latino reported that Maduro talked to soldiers at the year-end party in Caracas and warned them that the upcoming year could be a political showdown between his administration and their opponent.

However, all of the troops calmly listened to the voice of the late President Hugo Chavez over the speakers, commending Maduro as he reminded them of his acceptance of his party's defeat. He, too, asked the military to get back to their barracks after they were deployed to keep the peace and order of the election.

Now, all are watching Venezuela after the Democratic Unity won, as it is known that the armed forces have the authority over political fights in the country. Maduro retained his authoritative voice while discussing the opposition, saying that his leadership has established dispute over their enemies who are planning a war over the socialist system.
