After almost two weeks of play filled with shockers and jaw-dropping upsets, the Wimbledon Open semis will feature another chapter of Cinderella stories of these four women, who dared to beat the odds and attempt to their dreams.

Today, two players will move a step closer to reaching their goals while the other two will see their fairytale-liked campaigns come to an end.

Marion Bartoli vs, Kirsten Flipkens

The battle between France's Marion Bartoli and Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens will serve as the opening salvo for Thursday's play on Center Court (7:00 a.m. ET).

Bartoli will have another chance to return to the finals to the world's prestigious tennis tourney after falling to Venus Williams in the championship game in 2007. The 18th seeded Bartoli defeated American young star Sloane Stephens in straight sets 6-4, 7-5 to book her spot in the semis.

Flipkens, on the other hand, reached her first Grand Slam semifinal ever since she turned professional in 2004. Flipken's previous career high in Grand Slam tourneys was a fourth round appearance in the Australian Open last June. Five months later, the 27-year-old Belgian is just two wins away from winning her first majors title. The road to the final was daunting for Flipkens, who had to overcome former Wimbledon Open winner Petra Kvitova 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, in a three-set thriller.

It will be the first time the two play each other in a tennis game, making the semifinal clash very much unpredictable.

Sabine Lisicki vs. Agnieszka Radwańska

Unlike the first semifinal match, Thursday's second game will showcase two budding tennis stars looking for a breakthrough victory.

Sabin Lisicki has been a force for the last two years in the WTA Tour but has always came short in living up her full potential in every tourney. Now, after her victory over tournament favorite Serena Williams, Lisicki could be on her way to bag her first ever major hardware.

On the other hand, Radwanska is also another fine player hungry for attention. Among the top-4 tennis player in the world, only Radwanska hasn't proved herself in a Grand Slam tourney with Williams, Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka all boasting major trophies.

Lisicki and Radwanska have played each other twice before with the German winning their first duel in Stanford in 2011 and the Polish nabbing the second one in Dubai last year.
