As IGN reported, the crown jewel of the Steam Machines is the Alienware, which has no price tag yet and is expected in the second half of 2014. The machine will have Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU and measure 8 inches by 8 inches and stand just 3 inches tall. The first Steam Machine revealed, the iBuyPower SBX, will be out in 2014 starting at $499. The SBX will have an Intel or AMD processor and a 2GB AMD R9 270. Another Steam Machine that will start at $499 is the CyberPowerPC Steam Machine. CyberPowerPC will include 500GB of storage and 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and the company will have a $699 model with even stronger specs.

Several companies are making high-end Steam Machines, such as the Digital Storm's Bolt II, which will have both Steam OS and Windows 8 and will cost a staggering $1,899. The Webhallen Steam Machine will be highly customizable (the default specs are an Intel Core i7 CPU, a Nvidia GTX 780 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSHD storage) and start off at $1,499. Alternate will have a $1,339 Steam Machine with 1TB SSHD, an Intel Core i5 4570 processor, 4 USB ports, a Gigabyte GTX 760 GPU, a HDMI port, and 16GB of RAM. The Next "Spa" Steam Machine will have a Nvidia GTX 760 GPU, 8GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and an Intel i5 processor. The Scan NC10 will cost $1,090 and includes a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3 4000M, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M, 8GB of RAM and 500GB of internal memory in a thin console. The Material.net Steam Machine is similarly priced, coming in at $1,098. The Zotac Steam Machine will be a little cheaper at $699, but not much is known about the console as of yet.
